The lands transition from summer to winter; leaves change and the weather grows cooler. Some days are sunny and clear, others cool or misty. The cold comes sooner in the north, while to the south summer's warmth still tries to linger.
Arkhein (2 sub-boards) Arkhein, formerly Ijdel, is a land of vast differences. In its eastern portion, taking up almost half of its landmass, is a great plain of scrub-brush, relatively flat and darted with locales of twisted desert vegetation, dwarfed and sun-baked. Tall buttes can be found stacked at various intervals through the whole desert/scrub-brush terrain, the result of gradual erosion. A shallow river cuts through the western part, which often runs dry during the long summer months. The smallest of oases sits in the land between the river's bend, supporting a few date palm trees that shade smaller, sweet-fruit producing trees. - rules - ranks - ooc joining - specialty laws - war games & tournaments - flora, fauna, & seasons - awards Moderator: copperyn
Vindictus (1 sub-board) The valley is tucked away past grassy, sloping hills, almost hidden from view. Surrounded wholly by rivers that wind around the land, the kingdom of Vindictus is nearly unreachable by others. The only way in to the heart of the valley is a short dive through fast, cold currents. A swim well worth it, for in the valley lush grass, shrubbery and scattered wild flowers carpet the rich fertile soil. The only worry of the land is if the rivers were to rise to dangerous levels, pouring downward and perhaps flooding the valley with water.
Glaciem (2 sub-boards) In the Far North of Ciroc stand the immeasurable towers of ice and snow, but if you can find the pass between the mountains, you’ll come upon valleys and ridges of the Glaciem Pack. Always layered in white save in summer time, the pack lands are home to thickly timbered slopes, cold grey mountain shelves, a dangerous peat bog, and an ice-cold waterfall that freezes solid in winter. Every sort of threat from bears to blizzards are commonplace in this world, but it makes the wolves strong and drives them closer together. Moderator: Seadragoness
Northlands (2 sub-boards) All of the land north to the great lake encompasses the "northlands". At the north most point of Ciroc there is a snowy area many animals uniquely thrive in. Most water here is frozen solid and throughout the year this region seems to always be filled with snow and ice, in a sort of perpetual winter. Away from the snowy lands there are plains, forests, and your normal grassy terrains.
Westlands (2 sub-boards) All of the land west to the great lake covers the "westlands". Most of the terrain is grassy with trees and shrubs. A large forest just south of the mountains is a noticeable feature of the Westlands. A river snakes southwards from the great lake, leading into the desert. The mountains to the northwest are small and circular, but despite their size they have existed for millions of years.
Eastlands (3 sub-boards) All of the land east of the great lake is called the "eastlands". Many known areas and land features that wolves commonly visit are located here. The ocean coast is also a prominent feature of the Eastlands. There is a single pointed beach that grows from the coastline. A soggy marshland formed long ago because of the river's delta, with it's many small streams running towards the coast.
Southlands (1 sub-board) All of the land south of the great lake is located in the "southlands". Much of the south is plains, but there is a decent sized desert here. The desert has extreme conditions; nights are nightmarishly cold, while days are extremely hot. In spite of the temperatures, many animals are suited for life in the desert.
